Delivery Charges for Slate tiles and slate cladding
Our deliveries are made on a 17 ton lorry, and for the majority of orders we instruct the hauliers to take a tail lift to be able to manoeuvre the pallet. The maximum weight that any one pallet can take is 1000kgs for health and safety reasons, although this can be increased to 1200kgs if there is a forklift on site.
All of our deliveries are kerbside only and we cannot guarantee a time of delivery (although we can charge £15 + VAT for an AM, PM or timed delivery). We do ask that there is someone on site to receive and sign for the goods, and that we are supplied with contact details of someone on site on the day in case there are any problems with the delivery. Since we cannot guarantee a time for delivery (unless paid for in advance), Eazyclad Limited will not be held responsible for any costs incurred to pay for someone to be on site on the day of delivery (i.e. builder, tiler etc.). It is the customer's responsibility to arrange the delivery in line with other third party instructions.
We advise that all goods are checked on delivery before being signed for and any problems are reported straight away. If, in the event that the goods are signed for, and later found to be damaged or otherwise, the customer has 3 working days to report it to us so that we can act accordingly. We may ask for pictures of any damaged goods at our discretion before we act to replace or refund the cost of the material.
